Not meant for anyone personally. Just an observation about traditional and contemporary.

I didn’t think it was personal I just thought like me you were discussing what was presented We do 5 pole forms in our system 4 are from Thai Keik and include 2 that are two man All 4 are single ended Pole/spear forms One is from Huang and double ended The 2 man ones teach how to Apply power Desolve power Yield Borrow and return I haven’t taught the 2 man ones to many students just because I become frustrated when they don’t get it We also have YCF,s 8 spear forms that are both solo sets and two man sets We also have quite a few pushing pole/spear exercises I just started to reply to you but thought I would mention how we trained

Wayne looks like the real deal to me - in reference to your material - sincerely
Don't want to hijack the topic but yeah Dave, the late Master Su Yu Chang was very skilled and decent - took a couple of seminars from him - first time I met him it was late 80s I think - after GM Liu's funeral he came to my teacher's restaurant - we all sat down to eat and I put a half bottle of Chinese chili sauce on my scallion cakes - his eyes blew open and he turned to my teacher, in Chinese and said, "I didn't think a white guy could eat that much spicy chili sauce!" We all had a good laugh.

And here is Yao Jizu, from whom our teacher Zhai Weichuan learned. Actually Zhai's first teacher was Wei Peilin, but after that passed away, Zhai continued with Yao Jizu.

Zhai Weichuan is listed as a disciple of both Wei Peilin and Yao Jizu. There are no videos of Wei Peilin, as he passed away in early 1960s, but here is a video from a meeting of Wei Peilin line people (Zhai Weichuan was also present there) from 1996
