NYC: Taijiquan Swordsmanship Weekend Workshop

I'm hosting a weekend workshop taught by Scott Rodell of GRTC (http://www.grtc.org/). Here's the FB event:https://www.facebook.com/events/624671077666671/.
6 hours Saturday and Sunday (9am - 12pm, then 2pm-5pm) for $250, or one day for $170. Open to beginners and more experienced players alike.
(A background in taijiquan will be most helpful). We'll be learning the proper way to hold a jian, basic deflections and strikes, and also have some 2 person drills and a taste of free play.
The goal is to get a regular group meeting monthly in NYC to practice traditional Chinese swordsmanship: https://www.facebook.com/groups/grtcnyc/.
