Mines is going well too.
Quick recap: My challenge was to stretch one hour everyday (mostly by doing yoga).
A buddy of mine was able to get me a foam roller. It has really helped with my stretching.
Rick I can really relate to what you are saying about focusing while performing movements. In yoga I now and again have a little lapse in concentration and I then realize my posture is wrong! A bit of mindfulness goes a long way.
I have def. noticed some subtle improvements. My Halasana is getting very strong (http://www.yogajournal.com/poses/479).
I notice I have been able to "open" my spine more. While at a Bagua seminar, a teacher told me my back was too rounded. I had difficulty "opening" the vertebrae the way he did. I have noticed an improvement in this area.
Someone told me during my challenge that the main difference between Pilates and Yoga was that Pilates tried to maintain strong posture by building the core area, whereas Yoga attempts to create far great mobility in the spine.
The main thing I am enjoying is that I am able to focus on this sort of training for at least an hour everyday. It's a good feeling.
