Ah, so THAT's what makes a form martially relevant... :)
Funny thing is that this IS indeed a wide-spread notion... I must be doing something wrong... :'(

I heard that Chinese government tries to put those jumps back into Taiji for better performance. I won't be surprised that one day Chinese government will add my favor "spin back kick" into Taiji.
