What's weird is that you can see effortless controlling of somebody using their full power at any jiujitsu club you want to go into, pretty much anywhere in the country, at anytime you like. It's commonplace. But I guess when it's pointed to the answer is always "no, not like that".

You've seen the type of 'pushing' we do over here to test the adherence to the principles and methods while on the move with the various tjq footwork.

You're the only person here to whom I'm interested in showing my work these days...

It’s not the bully that is the problem it’s those that support the bully
It’s funny how every time this sort of thing goes on the support I get on the back channel
I appreciate that and understand why they don’t get involved on the open network
Those of you that think this is good pushing fine you have chosen your path
I am just sorry that better understanding is not available to you
It won’t matter to you only to the art
It is not about me showing what I do
It is about you doing better

Of course the problem is other people. Makes total sense.

Truth doesn't need to hide in the back channel.

That's quite unhelpful, Wayne. If you want the art to improve, then it would be more useful to tell other people what you think should be better. Language is always tricky here, but you could at least take a shot at it. Currently your basic message comes over as "this or that is just bad, but you're all too dumb to understand what I might say, so I won't even try explaining why." You weren't as extreme as this a year or two ago, if I remember rightly. But I'm not taking anything personally here, in the sense of getting miffed. ;)

I've got my own training goals, a range of training partners and other exchange formats, I'm progressing, so I'm doing OK anyway. RSF communication at this level is just a game or a pastime. But I'm genuinely interested in hearing qualified opinions from experienced people like you, if they actually want to share and engage and not just dump.

really relate to both sides of this "argument" in the cartoon. replace jiujitsu with "judo", though. if you join any judo club, everyone can relatively safely go "full power" and try to throw each other. it's very fun. OTOH, even though I may fanboy Fedor here in sarcastic comments, "not like that" is my actual, real answer. the good thing is if you think you can do it "not like that" or if you think you can only do it "like that", you can try it. however, if you have no "not like that" ability, it could be counter-productive if you too easily fall back on "li"

They are not hiding in the back channel they just don’t want to deal with your narrative
I take it that you chirping in means you have removed the ban on me commenting on you
That’s great releaf I can now comment on your latest pushing
I will wait for all those who break this down into what is happening move for move here to do a breakdown on you and your mate from Vietnam

Hey man I'm always open to good pointers. I know I need improvement.

But two things I live by is your opinion of me is none of my business, and anything you can't tell me to my face isn't worth worrying about.

The nastiness of your responses is what forms the narrative.

I can’t think of one time I was nasty
U might think the truth is nasty
I was told on the back channel that I was too polite
Face to face would mean little because I know I have nothing to teach u
I write for others
