Do you practice in the mornings or the evenings, or both?

Is it really true that practice in the morning is worth twice?

Thanks.

been trying to do both for about 6-12 months, but my bio-rhythms are pretty well set to feel much better and more energetic at 11pm to midnight. nevertheless, there is def something about trying to cultivate more energy to the morning.

how about you and what are you finding?

Morning it’s all about the negative ions
Even better before sunrise with your back to the raising sun

I`ve been practising couple of years at 5am , after cleaning (enema).
You can fill much better accommodation of energy, due to biggest presence of negative ion in the air, as Wayne noticed.
But, I looked in the raising sun direction. I`ve been trying both sides (front or back) and found, that facing sun is somehow better for me. Maybe `cause I`m located more on north side of the planet?
b.t.w., Wayne - do you know explanation why not facing the sun is better?

Last two years I train irregularly due to flood of the tasks,
shit,
and I was thinking, that I will win more time when retired !
have to return on proper path.

Morning in summer, afternoon in winter. Getting enough sleep, eating right, drinking water, etc. have a much bigger impact on my training than time of day. That said, as someone who lives in the real world with limited resources and who has shit to do, the best training is the training that actually gets done. "A good plan, violently executed today, is better than the perfect plan next week," and so forth...

never knew about the negative ions. aha so maybe that's that good morning feeling.

for the routine, I like to wake up and go make a pot of coffee but if I remember to habit stack, it's easy to fit in 5-10 minutes of exercise. lately it's just the kadour ziani cat stretch while still in bed, then cat stretch by the couch, but will have to switch back to qigong.

The idea of training imperfectly is its own reward
Like training wrong for 20 years
Although we never reach perfection it should be our aim
If our aim is tardy training that is what we will achieve
Back to the sun is about opening up the bladder meridian and governer vessel
They bless all the rest

O, thank you,
so goin` follow this idea, can we say, that - facing sun adds "twist" to the yin side, while reversing position is giving boost the yang?
