I see from your own recent words on this thread that you "need" forms practice for the following and also "spend very little time on them":
A warm up
A performance to demonstrate "what you do" to others
And possibly as a memorandum ?
And possibly to alleviate boredom - change things up a bit ?
(not sure if you stated the last 2 hence the question marks)
Nothing to do with good ICMA training then. Making it something easy to drop and pick up, something with little meaning or usefulness. IOW everything that is "wrong" with form practice and the approach that make's it's utility negligible and why you dropped it in the first place.
At this time I see no real(meaningful) gain or loss either-way for you based on that, other than maybe your enjoyment from doing them.
If that's the case - which in of itself, it is great of course. It's nice to have trinkets I suppose, but treasure is better!
